Long time hello~ Check out my youtube!

My oh my... Totally forgot I had a blog ha ha. It's been a hectic month and I couldn't just find myself to sit down and write. Anyway, I recently started YouTube after months and months of consideration. I'm still awkward towards the camera and hopefully I'll get used to it. It's very low key,  only like 3 of my friends know I'm doing this including my boyfriend (barely). I just filmed and uploaded a what's in my bag featuring my NEW baby! Marc Jacobs! Deep blue sea

Deep blue sea is one of my favorite movies.. Haha but that's not what this post is about! I just got my nails redone today. It's been 3 weeks since my last trip to the salon and dang, I can safely say that I am HOOKED on gel manicures. It lasts forever! No chips, shine is incredible for so long and I am sold! I did a sparkly pink girly color previously so I chose a very rich, dark blue color with very minimal sparkles. The shine is... Omg I am at a loss for words here. I will forever stick with gel mani. It dries so fast, I was digging in my purse as soon as the woman finished and it was still a perfect manicure. Also, my nails are always so brittle and they always break or chip, BUT they grow so long and strong with gel!

SO... I've decided to let go of my Tory Burch mint green bag... I made a post about it in january. I barely get a chance to wear it and I decided to let someone have it. It is no longer available in stores and therefore, it is pretty special. Haven't seen one person with it yet. It is like brand new, only worn twice, no flaws, nothing. It retails for $350 and with tax I paid $380. I will be selling it for $300. It is a good price considering the fact that it has barely been worn, mint condition, and no longer available. Weekendary Update!

I will be posting my update today cause I probably won't have time to do it tomorrow. And I want to show you how I wore my items from the mini haul post! :) I went to Tanger Outlet today and there was nothing... Waste of a drive there. Although I did get my boyfriend the HUGE ASS snickers haha. Today was the most beautiful weather ever... <3 But it got freezing at night. I need to sleep, so tired. So I will get on with the pictures!

It got cold at Tanger cause it is an outdoor outlet. So I just layered a fur vest on top and it was very warm. Although, I wouldn't have worn black boots with this outfit cause it makes my bottom too dark, but I really wanted to wear the boots for the first time... so whatever lol.

Mini Haul :D

This week alone, I've had to do 3 essays and 3 exams, and 1 speech. THIS WEEK ALONE. So tired. I needed a little retail therapy, so my mom and I dropped by the mall after I ended school, right before work. Don't feel like writing much, I have to catch up on Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game on TiVo before I have to study for my last exam. yikes.

New booties by Steve Madden! My mom bought me new boots because my other ones were killing my feet, and it was  falling apart :P It's almost spring in NYC, but who cares. This would look cute with shorts too!

I LOVE THIS GOLD DETAIL PART!!! That's what got me to buy this. I have to wear this carefully so it lasts till next winter :d

Also, I love the top scalloping detail. Gives it a little oomph  to the boots.

I am wearing pants. I promise! I LOVE THESE BOOTS! Can't wait to wear them.

I bought it at H&M! It was $30 but they had a denim sale for 25% off! I know I'm going to wear the heck out of this!

Also bought this from H&M on sale for $5!!! I bought it for the chain. My best friend and I will make bracelets with the chain! Can't wait.

H&M. Finally decided to try the oh so famous sock bun. Didn't think my hair was long enough and also have alot of layers, but when I tried it, it worked fine, with a bunch of bobby pins and hairspray. hehe :p

Last but not the least, B&BW! Have you smelled their new collection? OMFG GO TRY IT OUT NOW. I bought the strawberry hand cream because my hands are so dry during the winter and it smells amazing. And I also bought a tub of sanitizer. My boyfriend is a germaphobe and he kinda got me to be one so now I can't live without this product! Yeah yeah I know charm!!

Weekendary Update!

I can't believe how fast 2013 is going. We're already into march! I wasn't going to blog because I have 3 exams in a row starting tomorrow and I've been lacking sleep but I must be consistent with this! On saturday, I went to the city with my best friend and we stopped by the MACpro store finally! I didn't buy much cause I couldn't a lipstick color that I was dying to have. I did buy a 4 pan empty eye shadow palette! Then after we went to St. Marks to eat at Spot dessert. I was already full so I got icecream instead of a dessert, and I should've just gotten a dessert. Looked so good. I also bought 2 chocolate strawberries for my boyfriend ^___^ After, we went over her house and I tried to dye her hair red. Didn't work. We wanted to make bracelets so we got supplies. My boyfriend picked me up after cause I planned on sleeping over his house that night. Of course, we forgot to put one of the chocolate strawberries in the fridge so.. the next morning, it was spoiled. boo. On sunday, I went to church, and spent the rest of the day with my nephew, my brother and sister in law. Boring post, but duty must be done. I have about 100 school things to do, so I will do a fashion blog next. I promise!

Cute sunglass holder from Forever 21!

 I have not been able to blog everyday because of school and work, but nonetheless, I try very hard to sit infront of a computer and blog! Every friday is best friend day with courtney<3 We were going to go to MAC pro in the city but we were both pmsing so we got very lazy and just called up my boyfriend and his friends to have dinner in Long Island. But before that, we decided to stop by Macy's. Bad idea. We wanted to check out Ray Bans, but none of them looked good on my chubby face. Then.... I saw the cutest sunnies ever!!! It was a cateye effect and it was brownish black, mixed right well with my hair and freckles. I picked it up and it was like perfect for my face. It was from Michael Kors. I saw the price tag and it was $100! Now, normally, I wouldn't buy sunglasses because I did purchase a few high end ones previously, but I wanted something I can just throw in my bag and not worry about having a bulky ass case with me. Now, i'm not trying to sound spoiled, or brag, but I do work and I earn everything I buy, so I can do anything I want with my money. I was very close to walking away from these sunnies but my friend asked if there were any discounts (LOL) and to my surprise, there was! It was something with a giftcard, whatever, in the end you get 20% off! So ofcourse, for $80 I just had to get it. It was a steal. And it was so light and not too dark. I own a Chanel pair, and it is gorgeous... But it is only for summer since the lens are SO tinted, and the legs fit really snug. I also own Tom Ford sunnies, and they kind of remind me of the MK ones but less cat eye-ish. Both of them, I would NEVER carry without a case. God forbid it scratches, I'd be devastated. I work too hard for it not to be taken care of. LADIES, if you buy something expensive, PLEASE take care of it. It is absolutely a pet peeve of mine when people do not take care of their shit. Okay on to the photos!

Weekendary Update!

I had such a crazy, fun, tiring weekend. I will do these "weekendary update" every weekend that goes by. Yes, I made up that word, but who cares? I get to do what ever I want with my blog! It's my escape from reality. On saturday, I went to a family friends wedding. I didn't get to take as much pictures as I would've liked cause I was also busy hogging my nephew from people :) I wore a high low black dress from forever 21. This is my favorite dress! It has parts of leather on the boobage area and the back is all fabric. Which was SUPER convenient for me cause I can barely find a dress that fits me so well on top. AND I finally got to use my mint green Tory Burch clutch I blogged about! I just took the straps off. There was a cocktail hour at 8, and I didn't eat anything cause I just wanted the main course (typical me). After cocktail hour, it was finally time for food, but it took so long for the food to come out so my blogger friend and I took shots. on an empty stomach. I know... Not so smart. The food came out at 10 and we were already gone. I barely ate my chicken. Fast forward- It's time to go home, and I just throw up in a plastic bag. HAHA very lady like. Whoops. And as I was going home, I threw up again in the car. (inside the bag) and I just showered and knocked out. Sunday. I wake up for church, and I have a headache. Whoopie! I had lunch with my boyfriend and my bestfriend. We had Pho's. THE BEST HANGOVER FOOD EVER. Oh my goodness... The whole day I have a headache and it finally went away at 5pm. Which was good cause it was my dads 57th birthday! Happy birthday pops! We went out to celebrate in a seafood restaurant in Bronx. That basically sums up my weekend! Stay tuned- more fashion blogs coming uppp! Hopefully I wont be lazy to review my 2nd baby LV<3

Pink Diamond nails!

My nails have been in such bad shape, my cuticles were gross, and it was time for a mani. I also have to attend a family-friend wedding tomorrow [outfit on blog tmr!!] so it was another excuse to get some pampering done. :-) I decided to check out 'Paris Nail Salon' in Bayside since I heard good things. It was a very clean place and had so many color options, and esp new seasoned colors. The people were very friendly... Just a bit too much. I got my nails done by a MAN. And lemme tell you, he is the best thing on earth! He cleaned up my cuticles and my hands look like from a model pic! Haha :-) They were super friendly, and kept talking in korean, and got me super nervous with my elementary korean. The girl was so super talkative and it sorta shut me down towards her. But the man was resectable, kept his distance, but still kept me entertained. And after my mani, he gave the best back/hand massage EVER! I was happy with my color choice and it makes me feel like i have the glitter acrylics on. I have always wanted them, but didnt want acrylic on my nails. No more talking! And onto the pics!

Holy grail lippies (Mac)

I'm glad I found a hobby! Blogging is so addicting and currently getting my friend to start blogging again<3 (ddalkicharm.blogspot.com) Okay... I was never into makeup, until like last year. Didn't start wearing makeup until my sophomore year of college. And when I started playing with makeup, it was only my sparse brows boohoo and my non existent asian lashes. I've tried about 40 mascaras and hands down, tadaaaa maybelline falsies has stolen my heart. Probably on my 5th tube already. So the last thing I needed to oomf my makeup collection was lipsticks! And I decided to go for Mac. At the time, I had a friend who's a professional makeup artist, and she had a 40% off discount! So I picked up a few lippies. But over time, I found ones that I truly, deeply love. Esp with my pale ass skin color with a gajillion ugly freckles all over me... sigh. Some are just so lucky to have non freckled face. WHAT ASIAN HAS FRECKLES?! 

DA DA DAAAAAAA! (Left to Right) Freckle-Tone, Speed Dial, and of course Ruby Woo. Don't you love all these names?

I just added this to my collection, and it hasn't been used yet, but when I tried it on at the store, gasp. I fell in love. it is a nude that has a tint of orange that DOES NOT wash you out. It looks so natural on my lips, and just *muah. This is an everyday lipstick if you ask me! And for the price of these, ain't that bad. Takes me forever to finish one lipstick though. Out of all my lippies, never have I finished one... Only chapsticks, I run through them like undies.

This one, I would have NEVER tried out on my own, if it wasn't for the mac worker. My best friend Courtney bought Sunny Seoul, and I wanted it too, but my lips were tiny bit darker so sunny seoul did not even show up on my lips. That is when the worker suggested this! And of course, i'm not hard to influence. I. Fell. In. Loveeeeee!

Ah, and ofcourse...my ultra matte red lipstick that makes my yellow teeth pearrrrly white! mmmm. I never really get the chance to wear this out because I HAVE NO LIFE. Ha, JK. But never have I found the right occasion to wear this. I mean, you never need an excuse to wear red lipstick, but I get so freaked out when people stare at me so... therefore...yeah. Oh and these do dry out my lips like cuuuurazy... so I suggest putting loads of chapstick before. Unless you like that chappy dry feeling, then by all means :D

Guilty Pleasure

I bought this bag back in November 2012, and may I say that I have not gotten enough uses out of this. Maybe because the weather in NYC is too cold. It was such a splurge for me, and sometimes, I regret it. Sometimes I want to sell it on my Poshmark. But I keep it just in case I might need it one day. The camera does not do justice on the mint green of this bag. Boo. Again, with the gorgeous gold detailing and the gorgeous mint green. I am obsessed with this mini sidecross, but it saddens me that it is sitting in my closet, unused. :'( Hopefully around spring, I will get use out of this and get my moneys worth! If not, it will go on my Poshmark! It comes with many sections in this bag, including passport, currency, and receipts. One thing I dislike about this bag is that the button never stays closed! I probably over stuff it... lol. I'm more of a big bag person, because it allows me to carry my life with me! And also my huge wallet. But nonetheless, this bag is perfect for a night out, or a date with my man<3

Oh what a beauty!

This is the most biggest and wonderful purchase I have EVER made. Let me tell you, LV's are SO worth it. They hold up great, and they literally last a lifetime. The price may be hefty, but it'll be there forever (of course, if you take care of it). I used to have the speedy 30, and I enjoyed it while I had it, but this one with the strap is so much more convenient. You can wear it SO many ways. Sideways, long shoulder, short shoulder, and of course, the most common way, around your elbow. I also got the free personalization done. I chose the medium font with gold letters. I personally like the gold better than the silver because the hardware on the bag is gold, so it'll be weird if there are silver lettering. But hey, whatever floats your boat. Now, lets take a moment to soak up the beauty. <3

Great fashion finds

THIS scarf is my holy grail. It screams spring in this cold NYC weather and I cannot wait for this cold season to be over. This was on sale at target for only $12! Reg price is $14.99 which isnt even bad AT ALL. I admit, I've been wearing this everyday since I bought it last week. I am soo obsessed. I always get compliments from random people when i'm rocking this scarf. I will need to pick up backups, god forbid anything happens to this. And plus, who can say no to mint green?!
